We just had a long weekend - yesterday the college was closed for Martin Luther King Jr. It was an extremely cold weekend, the coldest we’ve had yet. I did not do anything exceptionally out of the ordinary; however, Saturday night I went ice skating at Bryant Park and as my friends and I, and probably a hundred other people on the rink, were gliding across the ice, it started snowing. Not a lot, just flurrying, but visibly so. I couldn’t help smiling! One of my dreams came true: ice skating on an outdoor rink in New York City while it’s snowing.
